I run Spybot at lweast twice a week, last Wednesday when it had run its c heck I had a number of "infestations" So as usual i clicked "Fix problems" and it removed about 8 but a boc came up saying problems fixed BUT 4 problems could not be removed as they are in use?(or in memory) this could be fixed by Restarting your PC.
This I did, then yesterday lo and behold when it had finished its check I still had the same 4 problems there, details are as follows.

SWEETIM        PUPSC   x 4

Anyone any idea how I can get these little BUGGAS Out?

Sweetim might be a smiley program see http://www.sweetim.com/

If not, try booting in Safe mode - hit F8 until the screen comes up - then run Spybot again.  Or down load Avast antivirus free and use that in safe mode.

PUP stands for (Potentially Unwanted Program). It is not necessarily a threat and is part of RegCleaner which you are probably using.
SweetIM is associated with advanced Smileys in MSN Messenger.

Seems one anti virus programme sees another as a threat?

I had spybot but deleted it. it was more trouble than its worth. It slowed my computer down it would go mad if I tried anything different ie. it would keep popping up with little messages and warnings. It was taking over.

I use Spybot but I choose to run it manually.
Seems okay otherwise.
