It is with great sadness that I have to report the death of Ex WO1 John Greenhouse. He passed away in Thetford, Norfolk at 10.00 on Thursday 5th November.  His funeral will take place on Monday 16th of November in Thetford & at this time I have no other details.  His wife, Enid, is to update me with with further information as soon as it is available. If any of his old colleagues wishes to attend please PM me & I will liaise with Enid first.

I first met John at CVD Marchington in 1960 and was further posted with him to CVD Ashchurch & 10 Vehicle Coy. El Adem Libya & we became really good buddies.  Since my demob in 1969 we have kept in touch via letter,phone and infrequent visits.

May you rest in peace my very good friend.

I can't recall the name but nonetheless a sad loss from our wilting numbers. RIP John and sincere condolences to his family.
