Enjoying the banter so far.A really good site.

My 24 years and 240 days in the RAOC are as follows:

65-67. JLB.Watts Pln the best.
68-72. SS.32 Hy Regt RA.Hildesheim.
72-74. COD.Bicester.
75-76. HQ NITAT.N Ireland.
76-79. SS.7 Armd Wksp REME:Fally.
79-81. COD.Hong Kong.
81-83. SS.1 RHA and 40 Fd Regt RA:Topcliffe.
83-86. URS.5 AFA.Muenster.
86-90. 3 BAD:Bracht
90       Civvi St

Dets 73-74. UNICYP.Cyprus and 88. 78 Ord Coy.Belize.6 months for both.

At the moment living and working in Germany.I knom a few members on this site already.Possibly a few more.Late reply is im using the girlfriends computor as i dont have one myself.Also some of the keys are different in German.

Welcome Dick. I see you were in HK the same time as me. Where did you work? There are plenty guys on here I am sure you will know so enjoy the banter and drop a hint to your girlfriend that you need a laptop with an English keyboard.

Hello Willie

I was employed in RSG from Jun 79 till Jun 80.Then post NCO AND Finally Traffic.It was down to a rotation system after RSG every 6 months. We did meet either on Stonecutters or at Blackdown Bks.We are working on a new laptop.I was also a member of the Tigers rugby club,barman and player.

How the devil are you - Bracht was an excellent posting - hope you and the wife are ok - me and maggie are still together even though i forgot our 25 wedding anniversary.

We visited Bracht a couple of years back it was weird all these strange people in our quarters!!!!!!!

Hello SKYBLUEPAUL,

Nice to here from you after 23 years.We separated in 92 and now i have a German girlfriend,i live mostly in Brueggen but still have a place in Bracht.Most of the MQ,s are occupied except a few old officer quarters, which are a state from the outside,theres workmen at the moment sorting them out before anyone can live in them.Did you visit the old depot?

Welcome to the site.  I think we joined Junior leaders at the same time(apr65). Yes, have to hand it to Watts platoon they were a good bunch lead by Sgt Frost they won champion platoon just about every term. I was in Hill platoon.

Thanks for the welcome.I remember you from J\Ldrs,i joined Sep 65 and entered Watts pln Jan 66.Sgt Jo Frost made sure we won most comps during 66 and possibly in 67 under Sgt Bill Disbeery.SCOTTY joined at the same time as me he,s on this site.
